In-the-moment speaking coach

Unlike any speaking tool before it.

What is an in-the-moment speaking coach? It is a system that listens while you speak and nudges when your delivery can still change — not before, not after, but during.

Altura is the first in-the-moment speaking coach — it catches the patterns that matter and helps you adjust before the moment is gone.

The During effect

Before helps you prepare. After helps you understand.During helps you transform.

Most tools split coaching across before and after. Move the timeline below — see what happens at each moment, with and without Altura.

Without Altura

You’re on your own.

Before · 1 of 3

You read the books. You watch the videos. You take the coaching advice. You prepare.

It feels like enough — until the conversation starts.

— Knowledge stays in the prep, not in the room.

You are on your own when the conversation is happening and the pressure rises.

Your delivery breaks down. Your filler words cluster, your structure drifts, you overexplain.

— The moment passes before you can catch it.

Feedback tells you what went wrong — but the moment is already gone.

You replay the conversation. You make notes. You promise yourself next time will be different.

— And next time, the same thing happens again.
What changes
With Altura

An in-the-moment speaking coach with you.

Before · 1 of 3

Same preparation — but Altura fills the missing space.

An in-the-moment speaking coach is with you during the conversation, not just before it.

— Preparation that travels into the room.

It listens while you speak, watches for delivery patterns you can't hear yourself, and gives gentle nudges while there's still time to adjust.

Not to interrupt you. Not to judge every word.

— A signal while your delivery can still change.

To help you recover before the moment is gone.

Afterward, Altura shows you what happened, what shifted, and what to carry into the next conversation.

— And afterward, you actually rest.

In-the-moment,act before it’s too late.

A signal while your delivery can still change.

What it catches

Be the best of you, not a perfect robot.

We don’t want you to sound perfect — it’s fine to have edges. Altura helps you catch the big ones that matter: a burst of filler words in a short window, overexplaining that doesn’t end, an opening without a point of view.

Overexplaining

When you have made your point but keep going.

Weak opening

When you start without a clear point of view.

Lost structure

When your answer starts to drift.

Answer the wrong question

When you are answering a different question than the one asked.

The load

You don’t have to carry it all.

Altura carries the monitoring so you can focus on speaking.

Most advice tells you to be more aware. Slow down. Watch your words. Notice when you ramble. Catch your filler words.

That sounds reasonable.

But under pressure, it adds another job. Now you are trying to speak, think, answer, read the room, and monitor yourself at the same time.

That extra load can make the breakdown worse.

Common questions

The questions people ask.

Is Altura the same as a speaking coach?
Not quite. A human coach is in the room before and after — they teach, then they review. Altura is in the room during. It listens while you speak and nudges you when delivery patterns matter, so you can adjust before the moment is gone. The two complement each other: a coach helps you grow over months; Altura helps you in this conversation.
Is Altura judging everything I say?
No. Altura watches for the few patterns that actually break delivery — filler clusters, overexplaining, weak openings, lost structure, answering the wrong question. Most of what you say goes by without a nudge. The point is to catch the big ones, not every word.
Does this replace preparation?
No — it makes preparation pay off. You still do the work. Altura makes sure that work shows up during the conversation, when your delivery can still change, instead of staying in the prep notes.
Is this only for interviews?
Interviews are one of the strongest fits, but Altura works for any high-stakes conversation: investor pitches, all-hands, sales calls, leadership Q&A, or practice with a speaking community. The common thread is a moment where your delivery decides the outcome.
Why does timing matter so much?
Because feedback after the fact can explain what happened — but it can’t recover the moment that already passed. A nudge while you can still adjust changes the outcome of this conversation, not the next one. That window is what Altura is built for.

Your next conversation is coming.
Altura will be there.

You have already done the preparation. Now let it show up when it counts.
