What happens after my 7-day trial?
Your trial does not auto-convert to a paid plan. Before your trial ends, visit your account settings online and select a plan to continue using Altura.
If you don't upgrade, your access will pause until you choose a plan.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade between plans at any time. Changes take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.
What does "bring your own key" mean?
BYOK lets you connect your own AI provider API key (such as Anthropic or OpenAI) to power Altura's coaching engine.
You pay the AI provider directly for usage, giving you full control over model selection and costs.
Is my data private?
Yes. Live audio is processed on your device — it never leaves your machine. For deeper analysis, you choose the privacy model: on-device, local LLM, or cloud AI.
Cloud features are always opt-in, and you control whether and where session data is stored.
For maximum privacy and security, consider Coach BYOK or Coach Select, which give you full control over your AI provider and data processing.
What are the hardware requirements for Filler Coach and Coach Pro?
Both require an Apple Silicon Mac (M1 or later) or iPad with an A-series/M-series chip, running macOS or iPadOS Tahoe 26.3.1 or later, with at least 16 GB RAM.
Altura runs as a native app with no browser dependencies.
What are the hardware requirements for Coach Select?
Coach Select runs a large language model locally on your device. It requires Apple Silicon M2 or later, 16 GB RAM minimum, macOS 26 or later, and at least 5 GB of free storage for model files.
